T. Lee Sherbakoff, CPA/PFS, CFP®, RICP®
Principal, Financial Planner
Lee is licensed in Tennessee as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential from the American Institute. In addition, Lee is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional and a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®). He specializes in creating and executing financial plans and retirement income planning that lead to sustainable long-term, real life returns in order to meet his clients’ deepest and most important financial goals and objectives. Lee’s investment style includes individually designed wealth and investment management strategies using appropriately allocated, well-diversified portfolios. His passion is helping his clients to maintain a faithful, patient, and disciplined approach to investing.
Lee has worked in the investment industry for many years, with a hiatus taken from 2008-2012, when he was on active duty with the U.S Army. Before being activated, he served as vice president with a local trust company. After retiring from the U.S Army Reserves, Lee joined Patriot Investment Management and then helped formed The Nalls Sherbakoff Group, LLC in 2014.
Lee is committed to his clients and strives to offer independent, non-conflicted financial advice, strong ethical practices, and a profound duty to service. His deep-seated loyalty to his clients and his passion for outstanding client service was honed over a 31+ year career in the U.S Army Reserves. He served at the Army’s highest levels on the Department of Army staff at the Pentagon and deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm (1991) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (2008-2009).
Beyond Work
Lee enjoys giving back to the community and to his profession. Lee is a council member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs, and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. In addition, he is past President of the Knoxville Chapter of Tennessee Society of CPAs and past President of the East Tennessee chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
